Fundraising
We are more than happy to help. If you have any worries, please email the team on [email protected] and a member of the team will get back to you as soon as possible.
Cash Donation - If you are given cash (or a cheque payable to you) you can pay this in direct to your Longest Day page. Visit the home page, login, click the 'My Donations' tab and then click on 'Add offline donation'. You will be invited to input the amount and pay the amount in using your credit/debit card.
Cheque Donation – Please make payable to “Walking With The Wounded” and send to:
Walking With The Wounded
Stody Hall Barns, Stody
Melton Constable
Norfolk
NR24 2ED
On the back of the cheque please write your name / team name and ‘Longest Day’ so we can allocate it to your fundraising effort.
To be eligible to add Gift Aid to your donation you must be a UK tax payer and you must have paid, or will pay, an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for the current tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) that you donate to will reclaim on my gifts for the current tax year.
Other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify.
The charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that you have given.
Please do encourage anyone donating to you offline (by cheque or cash) to download a Gift Aid Form to ensure we can claim an extra 25% on their generous donation. For more information on Gift Aid visit: www.hmrc.gov.uk/individuals/giving/gift-aid.htm
We will then add any of these funds (cash paid into our bank/cheques) to your fundraising page on the website.
Please check your junk email folder.
Sadly, the amount of SPAM going around the internet means junk mail filters are becoming more and more complex. It is difficult for us to be 100% sure that your donation receipt will be delivered to your inbox successfully.
If the receipt is not in your junk folder and you still haven't received it after a couple of hours please contact by email [email protected].
The money raised during our Longest Day campaign funds vital Walking With The Wounded programmes supporting veterans and their families who are most in need.
These areas include employment, mental health, and support care coordination.
