The Longest Day

The Longest Day encourages our incredible supporters to go further than they have ever gone before by setting themselves a challenge and a new personal best - all whilst raising vital funds to support veterans and their families in the areas of employment, mental health and support care coordination.

4 Key Fundraising Tips

Here we break down our key tips for getting the most out of your fundraising, whether you are a new or regular supporter. Get creative with your connections - whether they're family, friends or work colleagues - and don't forget to have fun.

Fundraising tip 1 - Tell your friends

Tip 1

Start close with friends and family. Once you have some donations to get the ball rolling, share your fundraising pages on your social media channels.

Fundraising tip 2 - personalise your profile

Tip 2

Make it personal! Add a photo to your fundraising page and explain why you are taking part. Don't forget to set a target!

Fundraising tip 3 - Update your followers!

Tip 3

Give regular updates of your challenge to engage with your audience throughout June. Connect with your social media connections.

Fundraising tip 4 - Get your workplace involved

Tip 4

If you can, get your workplace involved. Can they sponsor you? Can they go one step further and offer match funding?
