Why I’m Taking Part

I am taking part in the Longest Day 80 campaign throughout June to challenge myself and push boundaries whilst raising money for Walking With The Wounded.

Walking With The Wounded deliver employment, mental health and support care coordination programmes in collaboration with the NHS to get those who served, and their families, whether mentally, socially or physically wounded, back on their feet and making a positive contribution once more. Why? Because those who served, deserve.

Here is the route

The aim is to beat the sun. We have about 16.5 hours or 1000 minutes to get from our Leeds off to FDMs London office. We have also chosen to go the long way down in order to take the distance over 400 KM. Please keep your fingers crossed that we don’t have head winds all the way back down South
